Today in 1913
 Some 20,000 textile mill strikers in Paterson, N.J., gather on the green in front of the house of Pietro Botto, the socialist mayor of nearby Haledon, to receive encouragement by novelist Upton Sinclair, journalist John Reed and speakers from the Wobblies. Today, the Botto House is home to the American Labor Museum.

Louisville Teamsters Take on Amazon Air Hub

Aug. 12,2024 | ORGANIZING | Teamsters Local 89, the union hall representing UPS, and other workers in Louisville, Kentucky, has been assigned to organizing the Amazon Air Hub workers at the facility located at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. "Local 89 was tasked with spearheading this incredibly important campaign due to the immense experience we have with the UPS WorldPort Air Hub, the depth of resources at our disposal, and the pivotal rule our Local played in the discussons with KCVG workers that allied them with the Teamsters." cincinnati.com
