‘Total gut punch’: UPS driver disqualified from US Open
 June 4, 2025 | Nick Barrett, a 31-year-old UPS driver from Maryland, shot 68 last month in U.S. Open local qualifying at Northwest Golf Course in Silver Spring to earn a spot in the 36-hole final qualifier Monday at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Md. Barrett made birdie on his final hole Monday to shoot an opening 73 and, well, then made the silliest of mistakes. Learn more here.  June 4, 2025 | Teamsters at Breakthru Beverages in Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Orlando, Pensacola, Tallahassee, and Tampa were forced on strike after the company committed unfair labor practices. 100+ Chicago Teamsters on strike that extends to LA, Minnesota
 June 10, 2025 | More than 100 Teamsters at Mauser Packaging Solutions in Chicago are on strike after the company failed to offer a fair contract. The warehouse workers, represented by Teamsters Local 705, are demanding higher wages, better benefits, and safer working conditions. “Mauser is striking itself by refusing to put a serious offer on the table,” said Juan Campos, President of Local 705 and Teamsters International Vice President At-Large. “Our members do essential work, and they deserve a contract that reflects their value. NLRB issues another complaint against Amazon as Teamsters keep up pressure
 June 18, 2025 | The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) Region 20 issued a complaint against Amazon over its illegal union-busting activity at the DCK6 facility in San Francisco. This marks another win for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters in its ongoing battle against the two trillion-dollar company. Teamsters launch nationwide Airgas strike
 June 26, 2025 | Teamsters at Airgas are on strike in response to the company’s unfair labor practices and refusal to negotiate fair contracts. “This company talks a big game about safety and respect. But when it comes down to it, they won’t even sit across the table and negotiate a real contract,” said Sawhn Diaz, an Airgas Teamster and Local 701 steward. The tankhaul workers, represented by Teamsters Local 507 in Cleveland and Local 701 in New Brunswick, N.J., have extended picket lines to eight locations across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. The Teamsters represent hundreds of Airgas workers across the country and are prepared to extend picket lines to even more locations if necessary. Learn more here.
