'Too Damn High': Why We Spend So Much on Health Care

March 14, 2014 | HEALTHCARE | We spend a lot of money on health care in the United States. In fact, Americans pay far more for health care per person than any of the other 33 OECD countries – $2,800 higher than the next closest country and two-and-a-half times the OECD average. [Note: OECD is the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.] Is this investment paying off? Not really.
