   HC Cost Savings for MD = $829M: National health care reform is expected to save Maryland millions over the next decade to provide converge to nearly 350,000 people. About 14% of the state citizens are uninsured.
   Harley Sales Down, but Profits Up: Sounds like a contradiction, doesn't it? But having cut more than a fifth of its workforce since last year (many of them unionized workers) and more cuts expected, Harley Davidson still reported a $71 million profit in the second quarter, more than triple what it earned last year.
   State Fed Makes Endorsements: U.S. Senator Barbara Mikulski and Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley top the list of candidates endorsed by the Maryland State AFL-CIO.
